FACT Corporation is a food and culinary technology group whose core products consist of science-based ‘functional’ dough and batter premixes.
Functional foods are similar to conventional foods that form part of an everyday diet. The difference lies in their positive benefits to overall health and their ability to reduce the risk of chronic diseases beyond basic nutritional functions.

Benefits are due to the absence of sugar or no added sugar, no or low cholesterol, high fiber, reduced digestible carbohydrates and low sodium.

The primary differentiator in FACT’s products is the unique combination of ‘prebiotic fibers’ and protein/fiber conditioning systems.
Prebiotic fibers are soluble fibers that are broken down and absorbed in the intestines rather than in the stomach. They don’t break down into glucose.
Prebiotic fibers offer more physiological benefits such as a longer feeling of fullness because there is no spike in blood glucose levels (which occurs when sugars and simple carbohydrates are digested). These fibers offer: more nutrients for body absorption; assistance with the absorption of certain vitamins & minerals; and, the promotion of proper intestinal bacterial growth.
