April 2005 You’re looking at a donut with no sugar (versus the regular 6 grams), reduced simple carbs and substantially less fat than your regular donut. Is it a mirage?
No, it’s a FACT sugar-free donut! And they’re every bit as good as the sugar-filled donuts you have loved for years. Sugar-free is one thing, but the real killer is the digestible carbs found in regular donuts. These simple carbs made from cheap ingredients have a Glycemic Index rating of around 100, causing a spike in blood sugar levels. Low sugar, few simple carbs, low fat…rest assured, this is not an ‘air donut’ – with the proper R&D it is possible to create the perfect donut: we’ve done it! For more information on the sugar-free donut, email us!
You can make your own donuts at home from our All Purpose Baking Mix. Just add a little extra stevia, honey or your favourite sweetener. We suggest a quick, high temperature fry in canola or soybean oil. |
March 2005 Introducing FACT’s versatile all purpose bake mix! Some recipes include Challah (great for Easter treats), English muffins, foccacia, pita bread, pizza shells, calzones, angel food cake, pound cake - all reduced in carbs and full of fiber.

February 2005 You saw it here first! This is your first glimpse of Quick Quisine™ pastas and sauces. FACT customer Bianca Pasta licensed the brand name from Atkins and together we came up with these delectable, low-carb gourmet pastas incorporating proprietary FACT premixes.
The fresh pasta line includes Quick Quisine™ Raviolis and Tortellinis (cheese, chicken and beef), and complementary sauces including Pesto, Roasted Garlic Marinara, Vodka and Italian-Style Meat Sauce. Gourmet Garage, Key Food Stores Cooperative, King’s Super Markets and Zabar’s will be the first to carry selections from the product line, and we expect to see the product carried by additional northeast retailers during March and April.
